Add Easter Eggs

The trail is now closed, but here are the instructions for next year... You want to create some eggs and add to the trail? Great! Here's how.

  1. Create a window display or egg
    - It can be as fancy or low-key as you like, big or small.
    - Go freestyle, use found images, or use the templates below. Download all templates as PDF - designed to be printed on A4 home printer
    - You can make with anything, and decorate with wrapping paper, foil, or anything to bring colour & visual interest
    - Make as many as you like!

  2. Display your creations
    - Put the QR code label near your eggs to associate it with the trail
    - Ensure your eggs are visible from street
    - Make sure you stick in a place that doesn't get in the way...and can be removed easily afterwards!
    - Leave them up until 10th April... then take them down.

Find Easter Eggs

You want to find Easter Eggs? Great! Here's how.

  1. Check out the map
    - Over the coming weeks, we are hoping to see this fill with Easter Eggs. Wouldn't that be fun?

  2. Add missing Easter Eggs
    - You can add any eggs if they are missing - drop a pin and label.

  3. Share the Easter Eggs
    - Take a photo of the eggs you find - we'd love to see them! It also helps others to discover the trail. Post on Twitter with the hashtag #chestertontrail, post to our Facebook page, or email us

View the Google map on a laptop for best viewing and editing experience - the embedded map to the left looks nice initially but doesn't work well...

It shows Instructions how to add eggs on the left hand side at the top - click "more" to expand.
